After the hustle and bustle of our wedding banquet, we were excited to embark on our honeymoon in New Zealand. We didn't know much about New Zealand before, but we knew it was a country in the Southern Hemisphere where Christmas is celebrated in the summer. We didn't realize that it was home to a variety of natural attractions, including grasslands, mountains, geothermal areas, lakes, glaciers, and fjords. November is spring in New Zealand, with warm sunshine and snow caps on distant mountains. The temperature drops quickly at night, making it chilly. Queenstown is our favorite place, and we wish we could live there forever.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Taipei to Auckland by flight 

Day 2: Auckland to Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World, Auckland Harbour Bridge, Eden Park, Rose Gardens, Sky Tower 

Day 3: Auckland to Paradise Valley Springs, Agrodome, Maori Cultural Centre, Rotorua 

Day 4: Rotorua to Queenstown by Queen Elizabeth II cruise ship, fly to Christchurch, fly to Invercargill, drive to Te Anau, stay at The Hermitage Hotel 

Day 5: Te Anau to Mirror Lake, Milford Sound, cruise, Queenstown 

Day 6: Queenstown to bungy jumping, Arrowtown, shopping, Skyline Gondola, Bob's Peak 

Day 7: Queenstown to Wanaka Lake, Hawea Lake, Fox Glacier, Metheason Lake 

Day 8: Fox Glacier to Franz Josef Glacier, Fox Glacier Township, Hokitika, Lake Tekapo, Mount Cook Village 

Day 9: Christchurch to Hagley Park, Cathedral, fly to Auckland, fly to Taipei

忙完了結婚囍宴，很高興的踏上了紐西蘭蜜月旅行。之前對紐西蘭的印象不多，只知道她在南半球，只是一個在大熱天過聖誕節的島國，確不知道她蘊含了草原、高山、地熱、湖泊、冰河、峽灣等自然景觀。十一月正是紐西蘭的春天，陽光暖暖的，遠山僅存長年不化的冰帽，入夜後溫度降的很快，寒氣逼人。皇后鎮是我和老婆最喜歡的地方，我們希望能永遠住在這裡。

I took my first solo trip to Hong Kong a year before my wedding. I was very impressed by the skyscrapers that lined the city center, which had a different charm during the day and at night. Due to limited time, I only visited Tsim Sha Tsui and Central, and the furthest I went was to the small fishing village of Repulse Bay in the south. I experienced the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong and its tranquility.

第一次到香港自助旅行是結婚前一年，對於香港市區林立的摩天大樓印象非常深刻，白天與晚上各有不同風情。由於時間有限所以這次的旅遊點局限於尖沙咀與中環，最遠則到南方的小漁村─赤柱，分別體驗了香港繁華與閒適。

On a weekend during my training in Bangkok, Thailand, I decided to take a walk around the city's famous Grand Palace area. I was surprised to find that the most attractive things in the Grand Palace area were the temples and pagodas, which are a testament to Thailand's Buddhist heritage. The Wat Pho Temple, which is located near the Grand Palace, is also a must-see. It is home to the largest reclining Buddha in Southeast Asia, which is just right for the rectangular temple.

到泰國曼谷受訓時的一個週末，決定到市區著名的皇宮區走一走。想不到皇宮區裡最吸引人的竟是一座一座的廟宇與佛塔，真不愧是一個以佛教立國的國家。皇宮附近的涅盤寺也是不能錯過的地方，這裡有座東南亞最大的臥佛，整個佛寺呈長方形剛好容納祂。
